RIB and comstruct announce strategic partnership
Stuttgart, March 3, 2026 — RIB, a construction software provider for ERP core processes and industry-specific requirements and workflows, and comstruct, specialists in automated, AI-based invoice verification through digital delivery notes, plan to soon offer a seamless integration of their systems. First pilot customers are already working with the integrated system, and more will follow, according to the partners. The collaboration between RIB and comstruct is intended, according to both companies, to make a significantly simplified invoice verification process possible.
“With our extensive industry expertise, we have made it our mission to continuously optimize digital processes for our customers. The higher the level of process automation, the less effort is required on the customer side. The pilot phase shows that integrating our systems brings significant improvements and speeds up the process. Digital delivery notes and invoices from comstruct are already matched and pre-checked before flowing into our system, where they can then be posted immediately. The integration of the programs provides matching between delivery notes and invoices and thus ensures a transparent and convenient digital process,” says Ralph Kühn, Partner Program Manager for the DACH region at RIB. — Ralph Kühn, Partner Program Manager DACH at RIB
For more than 50 years, RIB has shaped the commercial core processes of the construction industry. At the same time, the material procurement process in many construction companies is still characterized by breaks in media and a lack of transparency: delivery notes disappear in the foreman's pocket, and only every third order is created in the ERP. As a result, all invoices still have to be checked manually today, according to the invoice verification expert's experience.
“That exact gap between the construction site and the ERP was the starting point for comstruct,” explains Henric Meinhardt, founder and CEO of comstruct. “We digitize delivery notes and invoices directly at the point of origin, automatically match them with stored orders, and check quantities and prices in real time. This creates a structured and reliable data basis before the information even reaches the ERP system." — Henric Meinhardt, Founder and CEO of comstruct
As part of the partnership, the pre-checked invoices and delivery notes, based on synchronized master data, are to be transferred to RIB 4.0 via a standardized interface from both providers. This creates a fully digital verification process from capture on the construction site to posting in the ERP system.
